Welcoming Autumn with open arms by embracing our first amaryllis, lots of gorgeous hydrangea in brown, green and russet tones and the beautiful rosehip. A trip to the pumpkin farm ended with a van load of the biggest haul we've ever had resulting in the most stunning flowered pumpkin arrangements todate.
The month kicked off with a fabulous wedding for Angela and Simon at Wrightington country club. Fabulous colour scheme of white and teal with a tiny hint of silver. We adored using Angela's own collection of vintage crystal cut glasswear. October ended with a huge wedding celebration for Amrita and David at St Mary's Church in Newton-le-Willows followed by a 30 table reception at Kilhey Court. Calling in the classics Amrita wanted an elegant look that was full of flowers in white, ivory and taupe. 220 stems of white Hydrangea, Avalanche and Quicksand roses, double lissianthus, ivory calla's and ivory dendrobium orchids but the show stopper was the Brides bouquet that was sprinkled with the heavenly scented Lily of the Valley. Absolutely cannot wait to get the professional images from these two weddings.
On Thursday the 20th and 21st we were invited to provide autumnal arrangements with a splash of gold to feature on counter at Bobbi Brown cosmetics in Harvey Nicholls store, Manchester. This event celebrated the launch of their Christmas collection. So exciting to see out flowers featured in such a prestigeous place.
Enjoy the warm nights cosying up by the fire while it's slowly growing dark outside. Light candles, eat comfort food and always smell the velvety roses. Happy Autumn everyone.
